There are various departments of which you can train and work in as a Nurse, and the entry requirements to become a nurse ia a degree qualification in pre-registration nursing. This leads to registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), enabling you to practice. The pre-registration training is offered within four areas – adult, children (paediatric), learning disability and mental health.
