Application for the role of Media Sales Executive

I would like to apply for the role of media sales executive in your company. I feel that with a degree in media studies and some work experience in sales, I am ready to take on this sort of role.

I received a 2(i) in my degree in media studies which gave me a general grounding the area of the media. After studying the area of sales, I decided that this was something that I would like to do. I therefore took on a sales role to get some valuable work experience and to see whether I had the required skills for the job. I realised that my communication skills were good and have now been improved as a result of this work. I have a positive attitude which has helped me deal well with the job, taking rejection as an opportunity to learn and move on and using the positives to spur me on. I enjoy being able to give the customer what they want and need. I enjoy working with a team of likeminded people and find that having some healthy competition encourages me to keep working hard and getting those sales. I therefore think I am a great candidate for the job.
