Application for the role of Sales Ledger Clerk

I am applying for the role of sales ledger clerk as advertised recently. I enjoy numerical work and see this role as an opportunity to work my way up through an accounts department. I enjoy maths and numeracy and so the idea of working with numbers fills me with enthusiasm. I have not only got a good grade at GCSE Maths but also have completed a level 1 qualification from the Association of Accounting Technicians.

At the moment I am working in a temporary job as an office administrator. This is giving me valuable experience of what it is like to work in an office. However, I am looking for an opportunity to apply my love of numbers to a career and am therefore looking or a permanent role in an accounts department and feel that the opportunity that you have available would be a great start to a career in accounts. I feel that I have a lot to offer as well as my qualifications as I am a fast and accurate worker and take pride in sticking to deadlines. I am also good at communicating with my peers and have great organisational skills. Please therefore consider me for this role.
