Teaching Assistant Cover Letter Example
Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: Teaching Assistant post (any job refs or even put school/location here)
I have recently seen the job for a Teaching Assistant working in (Name of School) advertised on/in/through (where ever you have seen it advertised) and I would like to apply for this role.
I have previous experience as a nursery assistant working for a private nursery school looking after children in the preschool setting. I have been in this role working alongside children for 2 years and am now seeking to further to my career in the role of a Teaching Assistant.
I have looked in your school and was very impressed to read about the schools performance and the small class sizes really appeal to me and I would very much like to be part of such a community feel school.
I have enclosed a copy of my CV for your perusal but I have good GCSE grades in English and Maths and I am very keen to continue with this learning and am looking forward to learning more about the teaching world.
Should you be interested in my skills and experience please do not hesitate to contact me on (mobile) or (email).
Thank you for taking the time to read my application.
Yours sincerely
